Everyone knows the list exists. Almost nobody uses it.
Every company incorporated in the UK appears on the public register the day it registers, with its address and its directors. It is free, it is complete, and it is updated constantly.
Acting on it is the hard part. It means checking the register every day, filtering tens of thousands of companies down to the few hundred you could actually sell to, writing to each of them individually, and getting the letter into the post while the business is still deciding who to buy from. Almost nobody does it, which is exactly why it works.
That is the whole of what EnvelopeAI does. You tell us who you want to reach and what your letter says. We do the rest, every day, and show you what it cost.
How we handle the data
- Public register only
- Everything we use comes from the Companies House public register, under its published terms. We do not buy lists, scrape sites, or enrich records from anywhere else.
- Businesses, not people
- We write to a company at its registered office. We do not write to people at home, and we do not send email.
- Nothing sent without approval
- Every batch is listed to you by email before anything is printed. If you do not approve it, nothing is posted and nothing is charged against your allowance.
- Dormant companies excluded
- Companies that have filed as dormant or non-trading are left out automatically. About one in fifty new incorporations, and none of them can buy anything.
If you want to see the size of your market before anything else, the figures are on the front page and they are live.
